A Season of Seeing

It is the season of Samuel and the day of Elisha.  The season of Eli is over, and Elijah has already come. In chapter 3 of 1st Samuel, Eli came to the point in his ministry where he could no longer “see”.  The word of God was rare and there was no open vision.  There was no widespread revelation.  Where there is no revelation the people are destroyed. (Hosea 4:6a)

The Samuel generation is arising, and they aren’t going to let the lamp go out!  The Word says, “In the last days that revelation will be increased and released.”  (1st Peter 1:5)  You can only walk supernaturally in the amount of revelation you have.  The Samuel generation will take its place in these last times, and declare the glory of God to the whole earth. Their words will be met with the miracle working power of God and not one of their words will fall to the ground.  Every word spoken under the influence of the Holy Spirit packs power and manifestation of the Glory of God.

The Eli generation couldn’t see what was available.  Therefore their ministries only have gone so far and no further.  For many of you the Eli ministries were your training grounds, just as Eli was Samuel’s training ground.  Samuel assisted Eli in the prophet’s office.  He learned how to hear the voice of God and respond to God by the training of Eli.  Eli’s ministry has served its purpose in equipping the Samuel ministries as far as they can.

You are of the Samuel generation or you wouldn’t be reading this right now!  If you can see it (revelation wise) you can have it!  Seeing is not believing, but believing by faith in the spirit is seeing.  As you meditate on the big vision God has given and imparted to you, allow yourself to see.  See yourself, through the eyes of faith, doing mighty works for God.  See yourself ruling and reigning in whatever arena God has placed you in.  What do you need to see happen right now in the sphere of influence God has placed you in?  Begin to see where God wants you to be by the Word, and begin to declare and decree it.  Sow the spoken Word into that place.  See yourself speaking creative miracles into existence.  See your ministry going to that next level, and see your life going up several levels.  Because, that is what God is about to do.  Samuel was thrust into the full time ministry quickly.  It was a quick thing.  As soon as he started hearing the voice of God, everyone in the nation recognized him as a prophet to take Eli’s place. When you begin to see by faith and speak by faith, God will thrust you into promotion quickly-wherever your realm of influence is that He has given you.

Territory Restored

For those people that have felt like you have gone backwards instead of forward.  For those that have been in some major battles and think you have lost territory.  I’m here to declare to you that the territory is being restored!  In the time of the Samuel generation we will see territory that appeared to be taken by the enemy restored!

1st Sam 7:14 says, “Then the cities which the Philistines had taken from Israel were restored to Israel, from Ekron to Gath, and Israel recovered its territory from the hands of the Philistines.”

Restoration for you is the order of the day.  Where there has been resistance to the point of loss there will be a recovery.  People will be amazed and astonished at what God is going to restore in your ministry and in your life.  There will be restoration in the family, in your body, soul, and spirit.  Where relationships have been lost, there will be restoration.  You will see the ones who have strayed away come back.  You will see restoration in your circumstances that have been contrary to the promises of God.  Deceit and deception will be exposed and you will not be touched.  If you will allow it, restoration will make its way all the way to your bank account!

During the upcoming months, many are going to be on the “fast track” with restoration.  The restoration is happening so we can do greater works. It’s happening so we can do big things for the Kingdom of God to reach the whole earth with His name and His power.   Eli couldn’t see.  You, the Samuel generation, will see with eyes of revelation concerning restoration and these last days.

A Time of Restoration

“whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.” Acts 3:21

Restoration is not for heaven.  Heaven doesn’t need anything restored. Heaven has everything it needs.  It is us, here on earth that needs things restored.  We can therefore conclude that this restoration that is being talked about in Acts 3:21 is for us, and for our time.

The Day of the Disciple & Double Portion

It is not only the season of seeing, but also the day of the double portion.  Included in this time of “restoration of all things” is God’s miracle working power for our lives and others.  Elisha had the double portion.  Because you are a part of the Samuel generation and can see the revelation of the double portion, it is now going to come alive to you as never before.  Christ in you the hope of glory.  Elijah is a type of Christ, and Elisha is a type of disciple.  Elijah called Elisha to follow him just as Christ has called us to follow Him.  Elijah said “if you SEE me when I go, then you get the double portion”. (2 Kings 2:10)  You have to be able to “SEE” to get the double portion.  You have to have revelation of the miracle working power of God and the mantle in order to move and flow in it.   Elisha as a disciple did exactly twice as many miracles as Elijah.  Jesus said we will do greater works because He goes to the Father. (John 14:12)  Elijah didn’t go as a normal person.  He didn’t die.  He went straight to the Father so Elisha could have the double portion.

2nd Kings 2:13 says, “Elisha took up the mantle of Elisha”…and in vs. 15 the prophets said, “The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.”

So when Elijah went up, the mantle came down on the disciple. In other words, when Christ arose and went up the Holy Spirit came down, and the mantle that came down on us is the mantle of Christ!  Glory!  When the day of Pentecost came, and the Holy Spirit (the mantle of the double portion) came down on them, they were all disciples!  The Spirit of Christ now rests on you, just as the spirit of Elijah rested on Elisha.  You are now in position for the double portion!  Can you see it?  The mantle that Elijah and Elisha had was a type and shadow of the double portion for the New Covenant.  The mantle was a mantle of supply and restoration. When the widow women needed oil, the mantle supplied it.  When the food was poisoned, the mantle RESTORED it so it was edible.  When the dead needed life, the mantle supplied the resurrection life to restore.  When the woman was barren, the mantle supplied the ability to conceive.  When multitudes needed food, the mantle supplied it.  When the prophets needed to cross a river to get to their destination, the mantle split the waters. WHEN THE AX HEAD WAS LOST AND SUNK TO THE BOTTOM, THE MANTLE RESTORED IT!

Some of you may think you have sunk to the bottom, but the mantle of restoration is bringing you to the top again.  When the ax head came up, it floated.  That weight of oppression you have felt is broken off you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.  You will begin to flow effortlessly, as if floating, because you will learn how to operate in the mantle of the double portion, the mantle of restoration, and the mantle that supplies all things, the mantle of Christ!  So be it!

It’s the mantle that provides the divine ability for the mighty works of God.  Christ’ spirit is a supplying spirit, and a spirit of restoration.  It’s a spirit of double portion.  It is an unlimited supplying spirit.  When the wine ran out, His spirit provided.  When mankind went before his time, Jesus restored life.  When funds were needed, Jesus supplied it through supernatural means out of a fish’s mouth.  When multitudes needed food, He supplied it.  The Spirit of Christ came to be a supplier to mankind.  It is a supply source that never runs out.  Christ’s mantle that rests on you is a supplying mantle.  This means you never run out!  Everything and anything you need is in the anointing that already rests IN you and ON you.  And you are called to do double what Christ did!  Greater works shall you do, because He goes to His Father. (John 14:12)  It is biblical for the disciple to do double the miracles their teacher did.  We are never better than our teacher.  However, we are called to do more works than they did because of the divine ability in us, and the mantle of double portion and unlimited supply that has rested upon us.

Christ said for us to not stop at the double portion but to go make MORE disciples with this miracle working power, and to teach and preach this revelation to them so they can SEE too!  Greater works shall you do, because He goes to His Father. He had to leave as Elijah had to leave for the greater works to come on Elisha.

Matt 17:11-13 says, “ Jesus answered and said to them, “Indeed Elijah is coming first and will restore all things.  But I say to you that Elijah has come already.””

Folks restoration is here. The supplying mantle is already here. Elijah has already come because he was a type of Christ, and Christ was saying “I am here, and restoration is here now.”  The mantle of restoration and supply is already here.  It has already come. It has been restored.

John 6:39-40 says, “This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day.  And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who SEES the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

If it is Gods will that Christ should lose nothing, then it is God’s will for us not to lose anything!  In John 16:15 Jesus states that the Father has given all things unto Him and that He takes all things and declares to us.  So everything that Christ has is also ours.  Anything that has been given to Christ has been given unto us.  Therefore, for us to lose anything that Christ has given unto us is not God’s will.  We are in a time of restoration, and anything that has been lost or stolen will be raised up in this last day.  You are not just going to have restoration in your life, but you will be a restorer!  God didn’t just call you to be blessed, but a blessing.  Christ has restored all things and will lose nothing.  Therefore you will lose nothing.  As you use the mantle of Christ that rests upon you, anything that has been tampered with, harmed, taken away by fraud, or stolen will be raised up in last day and restored back unto you for the purpose of doing the work, doing the greater miracles, doing the greater works right in the realm of influence God has placed you in.  No disciple is exempt from this hour of seeing, restoration, and double portion!

Raised up for purpose!

But rise and stand on your feet; for I (the Word)  have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.”  Acts 26:16-17

My friend the Word appears to you for purpose.  The Word appears to you to make you a minister!  A minister of restoration, a minister of blessing, a minister of power, a minister of Christ, and all that Christ is, and a minister to demonstrate the power of the Gospel.

Disciple of Christ, it is time for you to stand on your feet.  For the Word of God has appeared to you this day and deposited into you the revelation of the double portion.  It has deposited a new level of seeing.  Restoration has begun, and the double portion is available to you in the form of unlimited supply right now.  Will you take up the mantle as Elisha did and run?
