GOD IS TAKING YOUR DISAPPOINTMENTS AND TURNING THEM INTO APPOINTMENTS-

The Shunem woman in 2^nd Kings knows about disappointment. She was content in everything she had… and even made room for the living word of God to reside in her home. She was a noble or rich woman the Word of God says… we know she was content because when the prophet asked her what can he do for her… she replied, I dwell among my own people, or you could rephrase that and say… I have everything I need, I’m fine thank you.

Jesus didn’t come to give us a life that we are just content with, He came to give us a life and a life more abundant.   That abundant life means a “more than necessary” life – Jesus came to give us His life…so we can trade in our lack, our poverty, our sin for His righteousness.

God was looking to get the abundance over to a woman who was already rich! Without Him, without Christ, we never have enough. It doesn’t matter how much wealth we have on earth, without Christ, without the living Word, we are in poverty.   You may be content with where God has you today, but He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him… and He is looking to get heaven’s rewards over to you!

We know this account of the Shenem woman… we know that she told the prophet, don’t promise me a son, and not deliver! As I cannot bear it if it didn’t happen… I won’t be able to bear the disappointment if this promise should not be fulfilled. We find that her greatest fear came upon her, when the son of promise dies. This great woman, although disappointment in the death of what God has promised her, realized she had to make a decision of either faith or fear. Thank God she chose faith!

Not once do we find in scripture her letting out her mouth that her son had died. Even when she finally found the prophet…she didn’t fall at his feet and say, “my son is dead!” – no! She said, ”did I not say do not deceive me, and did I ask of a son my lord?” She went straight to the source of where the miracle came from in the first place. As she went to the source, her disappointment turned into an appointment in God as life came back to her son. What was dead, was now alive! What a great miracle that only God could do! She had an appointment for a miracle.

Get ready for your disappointments to be turned into God divine appointments in 2016!. What looks dead today, will be alive tomorrow. What was barren, will be fruitful. God wants to take you beyond your contentment. While you are seeking God, He is seeking to reward you, as He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. Get ready for the performance of heaven to manifest in your life of those things which you have BELIEVED FOR. Where in the natural is seems like “nothing is happening” there is heavens manifestation in process.   Keep your eyes on the Author and Finisher of your faith, look away from what seems dead and unproductive. IT IS NOT YOUR REALITY. Keep God first. Worship Him. Cling to Him. Love Him. He has greatness, and goodness for you beyond what you can think or imagine.

The Shuneum woman did not let the fact that her son was dead stop her in any way. In 2016 – do not let the facts stop you, but instead remember the Truth of God always trumps the fact. Do not receive the report of the world, do not receive the doctors report, unless it is the report of divine health, do not receive the economies report, but receive the report of the Lord and what the Word of God says you are!
