In early 2020 I had tested positive for COVID19, at which time I lost my sense of smell. As you know your sense of smell is also connected to your taste. I have been under the teachings of Dr. Maria Krinock, so I have been standing on the Truth and proclaiming The Word that my smell and taste is HEALED.
I got into the habit of asking one of my daughters to taste test food as I was unable to determine when my cooking was as it should be. I cooked most food from memory and had them check if there was a missing flavor! Honestly there were times over the years that I would forget that my smell and taste was not normal. I cleaned my room a few months ago, including gutting my closet, where I found some mold had built up on the outer walls. I used cleaners and scrubbed the walls thinking nothing of it. When one of my kids came home, they commented on how bad my room smelled and I was clueless!
This weekend I was helping with the Victory 2025 meetings with Dr. Maria at the House of Bread. The last night of the meetings the presence of the Lord was so strong I could feel it with every breath. Towards the end of the meeting Dr. Maria asked if anyone needed a physical healing. I was on attention helping as needed as she laid hands on several people who needed physical healings. She looked at me and asked if I needed a physical healing and my response was, “Yes!” She commanded my smell to be returned and that I “would be able to smell those things that I do NOT want to smell!” I thought that was kind of a humorous thing for the Lord to say!
After that gathering some sweet treats were shared. I could not resist having a bit of homemade style goodies! I was blown away by the flavor that assaulted my taste buds, I could not remember the last time I had a bite of food so full of flavor! The next day I was cleaning up my kitchen and grabbed a dish cloth. I had to laugh and praise the Lord as I could smell that the dish rag was in sore need of being laundered! All week long I have given God praise for healing my sense of smell and taste as I had nearly forgotten how good food could taste and do not take for granted the sweet fragrance of spring on its way in Alaska!
