For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green,  And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. Jer 17:8 NKJ

Another year has gone by, and looking ahead to another great year in God.  A time of transition and change for many.  Although we like the idea of “change” and even get excited about “change” and talk about “change” when its at our door step, are we ready to receive it?  Do we embrace it or fight against it?  I know my husband, Conrad and I are going through more change than we have ever experienced.  Transition is never easy, it requires a willingness and obedience to go with the Spirit of God no matter what the cost.  The transition goes beyond the intellect, and beyond human reasoning.

Definition of Transition:  movement, passage, or change from one position, state, stage, subject, concept, etc., to another; change:

When in transition, we are in movement. Movement is good!  As we are not called to be “stagnant” in God.  When one has been planted in a particular position by God there are roots that must come up to make the transition from one area to another.  When the roots come up there is tearing.  Tearing of spirit, tearing mentally and emotionally. Roots go deep.  Its actually a “transplant”.  When a tree is in a small planter, in order to grow taller and bigger, it must be put into a larger pot that will allow for expansion. It must be re-planted and transitioned over to its new container. It is much easier for a tree that is in a planter to be “re-planted” than a tree that has been planted in the forest for years.  A tree in the forest is almost impossible to replant.  Digging up the roots is about impossible!  This is when human intellect and human reasoning cannot comprehend what is happening and all trust must be put on the Lord.

Transplant definition: Surgery. to transfer (an organ, tissue, etc.) from one part of the body to another or from one person to another.

God is surgically transferring different parts of His body to different locations.

God is building His Army, and His House and He is doing it His way!  When you enlist in an earthly army, you do not pick your station, location or assignment.   You follow your orders from the commanding officer.  Jesus is the Chief Cornerstone and Chief Officer.  God is assigning and positioning His Army where He wills and purposes.  There are those (not everyone) who are in this “transplant” state and it has been an uncomfortable state of the “unknown” while awaiting orders. For those who are in this transplant state and being re-assigned have felt a tearing as the roots are coming up, and have felt strained, stressed, and helpless – but these are feelings and not the truth.  They are simply symptoms of the transplant.  You must tilt your head up to the Father where you help comes from, He is the Gardner, and He knows exactly what soil to plant you in.  Trust in Him and He will certainly direct your paths.  He knows exactly what temperature to keep you in for fullness and fruitfulness.  He knows how much rain to shower you with, He knows what weeds to pull and exactly where to position the sun (Son) to shine on you.  He knows what needs to be pruned! Ouch!  The tearing is TEMPORARY, and not the end result.  We must allow the transplant, and allow The Vine (Jesus) to nourish.  Without Him we can do nothing.

“…spreads out its roots by the river…”

As movement in the spirit is happening, a heavenly transplanting is taking place.  It will position these ones for a higher level, for a greater level, a level of expansion.  Dip your roots into the river!  Immerse yourself entirely into the River of God.  During this time of transition and Heavenly transplanting, there is an opportunity to go deeper than we have ever gone before with God.  Where you have found limits to the depths of the anointing you will begin to experience “the Spirit without measure”.  Just when you think the anointing is lifting, look again!  God doesn’t want you to camp at the riverbank, He wants to take you all the way in!  In this place of intimacy and communion with God you will be given new assignments and strategies and begin to see the plan of God un-fold in ways you were not anticipating.

And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green. And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”

When the heat comes, it comes to try to cause damage because you are a threat to the kingdom of darkness. However you will not be burned, and your leaves will stay fresh, and full of life.  You are fire-proof!  Jesus said, nothing shall by any means harm you.  (Luke 10:19) Although the world will experience drought and the heat, you will not cease to bear fruit.  Perpetual, never ending favor and fullness comes from your tree.  You are a supplier.  As your heavenly fruit manifests it will supply to those who cannot attain such treasures.  As the excellency of the power of God lives in you. Treasures of salvation: healing, miracles, deliverance as well as financial.  With the fruit you produce, lives will be set free from the clutches of the enemy.

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain (continually). (John 15:16)

God does the choosing!  Not us!  God does the positioning.  God does the assigning.  Your transplant, your transition isn’t of your choosing, but what God is doing, for His purposes. We are not the surgeon.  He is.  It’s not what we purpose to do in God, its what God purposes to do IN us and THROUGH US.  When we abide in Him, this fruit remains.  Remains means:  continually.  You have an appointment for never ending, perpetual provision.  This means that healing never runs out for you, deliverance never runs out for you, prosperity never runs out for you, miracles never run out for you.  As long as heaven has no lack, you have no lack in whatever you are in need of.  You do not have to fear the famines, the droughts, the world systems because you never run out.  The more you give out, the more fruit keeps coming!  Just as the disciples handed out a little fish and a little bread, each time they did that, more fish, and more bread appeared!  Unlimited provision.  Unlimited heavenly supply.  This is what God has appointed you for!

In order for the next level of expansion, the transitions and transplants must be received and welcomed.  We always must let go of something to go to the next level in God.  It’s always something that is precious to us.  Just as Abraham had to leave his country and family to find the city of God or the call of God, he had to not be mindful of the country he came from or he would have had the opportunity to return to the limits and confinements from his home country.  Abraham was 75 years old when God called him out.  Can you imagine the roots he must have had put down in his homeland?  And what about Sarah?  They had 75 years of history, connection, family, friends, and church in their homeland.  To leave their homeland was no small thing.  God didn’t want to “take away” from Abraham and Sarah, He wanted to increase and expand Abraham & Sarah.  Leaving behind what is precious is not “losing”, but “gaining the promises of the Word.  God gave them a promise that was without limits and without confinements.  Uncountable, un-calculable was the blessing, and the expansion.  Your transplant is designed for God’s ability to manifest Himself in the in the unlimited your life that causes expansion and eliminates the limits and confinements that have kept you back from experiencing the fullness that God has for you. Get ready for a outpouring of the spirit without measure over your life!
