There are many that are coming through and out of a time of testing. You have faced severe trials, and you are on the edge of coming to the other side of these trials. You are on the brink of your PROMOTION and BREAKTHROUGH.

THERE ARE NEW ANOINTINGS THAT ARE BEING RELEASE FOR NEW ASSIGNMENTS.

“David fastened his sword to his armor and tried to walk, for he had not TESTED them. And David said to Saul, “ I cannot walk with these for I have not TESTED them.” So David took them off.” 1 Samuel 17:39

David knew what he had been anointed for… He had been anointed for KING. Yet although he was anointed for KING he wasn’t walking in it yet, as he had to go THROUGH testing before he could step into the fullness of the assignment.

Your testing period is your training ground. As you face the lion and the bear, and overcome them, you are being prepared for what God has for you in your kingly anointing.

“Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.” 1st Samuel 17:36

David had spent years being faithful taking care of the sheep, taking care of what was given to him to be a good steward over. When a lion or bear would come to partake of a “leg of lamb” dinner, to steal from David, he threw down with the anointing, with Gods ability and overcame both the lion and bear.

TESTING TIMES ARE YOUR TRAINING GROUND FOR ENLARGEMENT

David, being faithful to take care of what God had given him, was his training ground. What might of seemed un-important for preparation for a king, was necessary training in Gods eyes. If David couldn’t be a good steward over the sheep, he certainly would never be able to take care of a kingdom! What God has placed in your life to be a steward over is your training ground for the anointing and the call God for your life. When those lions and bears come at you, when those times of trials and persecutions come they are your times of testing AND opportunity for enlargement. Each time David went though a testing he came out with a new anointing. Remember God tells us clearly persecution comes for the Word sake. (Mark 4:17) As you are faithful with what seems to be little, God will make your ruler over much. Where you are at now, is not where you are going. “Now” is part of the journey on the way to becoming what God has called you to. As you walk THROUGH the testing you are being brought into a LARGER place with greater anointing, and authority.

David answered the call of God when he was anointed by Samuel, and we find that his brothers didn’t have a great attitude towards him, as they weren’t thrilled to even see him even when he brought food to bless them when they were in Sauls army. (1 Samuel 17:28)

Just as you have answered the call of God, and maybe you have been mocked, maybe you have been persecuted, maybe you have been rejected by your family… these are all times of testing. David had to face the lion, and the bear in order to slay the giant. He stayed faithful to what God had given him.

What you have been facing the last several months and maybe for some many years, has been preparation time to slay the giant. When David came to the place to face Goliath, he had his own anointing from heaven. No other mans anointing was going to do. Sauls amoror wasn’t going to fit. Mans ways, the ways of the flesh are not going to work. Its only by His Spirit. David had confidence in the might and power of the Lord Almighty. He had already been tested. He knew Gods ability in his life. He knew that it was God who moved THROUGH him to defeat the lion and the bear, that he could surely defeat what stood before him. He knew that he had passed his tests in trusting and relying on God for his victory, that he was not the source, but God was His source. God was his deliverer! He was ready for the battle to take down what was mocking him. The same God who delivered him from the lion and bear, would surely deliver him and ALL of Israel from the giant. What was mocking him, was mocking the God of Israel. What mocks you, is mocking God. What opposes you, is opposing God.

THE ENEMY ALWAYS TRIES TO INTIMIDATE YOU RIGHT BEFORE YOU ARE ABOUT TO STEP INTO A NEW ANOINTING.

The enemy has tried to get you to retreat from your position of authority. He has tried to get you to pull back and forfeit from the territory you have already been given and get you to give it up. The enemy always tries to get you to forfeit what has already been given to you, especially right before your promotion.

Whatever is telling you today that you cannot have the goodness of God in your life, whatever is mocking you today, telling you that you are nothing, and that you will never take that territory, whatever is trying to make you feel little, unworthy, unloved….whatever is trying to tell you that you will not do great things in God for His Kingdom, whatever is trying to hold you back and keep you at bay, whatever is telling you that you cannot have a miracle in your body, whatever is telling you that you cannot make it in ministry, trying to make you quit… whatever is telling you to put your sling down, to put your armor down and that its no use… DO NOT BE FOOLED BY IT.

That very thing, that very impression of a large enemy is not what it appears to be. It will be taken down by just one sling of that stone, as you release your anointing, and your authority, and that thing will come crashing down. God is BIGGER! God is bigger than the giant you face. Acknowledge TODAY your God, whom you serve right in front of your giant!

David spoke to that giant and declared, this day I will take your head from you! (1st Samuel 17:46) Just as David spoke to Goliath you need to make a declaration to the giant you are facing. To what is opposing the call and promises of God in your life.

Your breakthrough is not just for you, but it’s a breakthrough that is happening THROUGH you that will impact others. When that giant came down, it effected the whole nation of Israel. Your breakthrough is not just about you! Its about the Kingdom of God!

The very thing that is presenting itself so large in your life, is the very promotion that God has for you!!! God is always BIGGER! God has your back! If God is for you, who can be against you? Who is this thing to defy the armies of the living God? You are coming out of your testing period, and you are on the brink of the greatest victory you have seen yet. Your assignment will be fulfilled. There is NOTHING that can stop the assignment God has given you! The giant is coming down!
